ARGOMENTI
This course is intended to help students become familiar with the rudiments of Biblical Hebrew. Through rigorous approach to grammar, students will acquire the linguistic tools necessary for their study of the Bible. The first stage will provide students with the "mechanics" of the language. By mastering this foundational material, students will be ready to read and pronounce Hebrew words. After learning this, they can then directly begin studying Hebrew grammar and begin exploring the rich spiritual vocabulary of Biblical Hebrew. The student is required to perform the exercises in the manual. The course is evaluated through periodic tests, including the end of semester test, which will replace the final exam. Phonology: Consonants, Vowels, Syllables, Accents. Morphology: Article, Prepositions and Particles, Pronouns, Nouns, Adjectives, Verbs (General Characteristics and the Qal Perfect of the Strong Verb).
