At the end of this course, students will have acquired a basic knowledge and grasp of the canonical notions of the Teaching Office of the Church, the Sanctifying Office of the Church which are mainly the Sacraments of Initiation, the Anointing of the Sick and Holy Orders, the Sacred Times and Places, Indulgences; the Temporal Goods of the Church, the Sanctions in the Church and the Processes in the Church. This objective will be fulfilled by the following learning activities: Attendance to all lessons with the Canon Law Book (CIC 1983) always in hand. Following of Power Point presentations on the Church Laws presented by the Professor with the active participation of the students. A personal reading of the discussed Norms of CIC 1983 after lessons. Case solving applying the norms learned as homework

1. The Teaching Office of the Church; 2. The Sanctifying Office of the Church (Except the Canons on Marriage); 3. The Temporal Goods of the Church; 4. The Sanctions in the Church; 5. Processes in the Church.
